Ohio School Bus Overturns After Hitting Ditch, Two Students Injured

A school bus in Brown County in Ohio was involved in a rollover crash with 13 students on board, WLWT5 reported.

Substitute school bus driver Stephanie Burns, 32, was transporting students from Western Brown School District on Monday when she drove off the right side of the road. Burns reportedly over-corrected, which caused the bus to slide off the left side of the road and hit a ditch.

The bus then overturned on its right side in the roadway.

Burns was reportedly wearing the installed driver safety belt and was not injured. Children were able to climb out of the bus. Two students suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
