Scented Body Spray Prompts Evacuation of Florida School Bus

A Buffalo Creek Middle School bus in the School District of Manatee, Florida was evacuated on Monday because of a student’s excessive use of Axe brand body spray, reported the Miami Herald.

Emergency services reportedly responded to the scene, but no students were adversely impacted by the heavy scent on the bus. District officials said fifteen students on board were treated for mild respiratory irritation.

Another school bus was called to pick up the students and take them home. At this time the incident is being ruled as a prank but it is still an active on-going investigation.
